Laurence is a veteran entrepreneur and international biotech executive renowned for his track record of company building success.

Laurence has a wealth of executive experience, including as CEO at Decibel Therapeutics, where he led the company through an $82M Series D funding round and later acquisition by Regeneron, and Warp Drive Bio, where he guided several major partnerships with big pharma. In addition, Laurence was previously CBO at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals and Ensemble Discovery. Now focusing his expertise in advisory, non-executive roles, Laurence sits on the Board of several companies, including KalVista Pharmaceuticals, Garuda Therapeutics and Broken String Biosciences.

Laurence holds a Ph.D in biochemistry and molecular biology from King’s College, London, and a BA in natural sciences from the University of Cambridge.
