Bo is internationally recognized for his expertise in the field of AI, computational biology and virtual cell models, and has published multiple first-author papers in high-profile journals such as Nature Communications and Nature Methods.

Currently Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto, Bo’s lab develops powerful machine learning algorithms that enable clinical tools for personalised patient care, as well as cell simulation applications.

In addition, Bo is also currently Chief AI Scientist for the University Health Network, Canada’s leading research hospital, and holds a Canada CIFAR AI Chair from the Vector Institute.

Bo Holds a Ph.D in Computer Science from Stanford University.
